NOTE FROM STACY

I love this season's fashions! They allow us to take existing pieces we have in our wardrobes and put them together in a new way. With the monochromatic color schemes we are seeing in magazines and store windows, it gives us jewelry and accessory girls a great background for putting the icing on our cake! Feel free to experiment with the way you wear your jewelry, too. Try taking a long necklace and wrapping it for a fun bracelet. Try doubling it for a shorter, more substantial piece, and combining it with a new long piece. Add a new "pop" of color or a great new "statement" piece to brighten your wardrobe. We can help you do this, and with prices from $9-99, we will also fit your budget.

FASHION TIPS

Fall 2008 brings a more "sophisticated" look to the fashion industry with tailored shapes. Clothes tend to be feminine, rich and regal, but still have a bit of fun and flair to them.

You will definitely want to try a few of the latest looks inspired by menswear. Try a tailored vest and wide leg trousers with Mary Jane or oxford style shoes. Add a billowy blouse and some great jewelry and you are totally "in-style" for the season. If you want to update an exisitng jacket or cardigan sweater, try belting it to give you a great hourglass shape and a fresh new look.

Add some panache to those single-colored themed outfits by wearing contrasting shoes and a great statement necklace. These will give your outfit a pop of color and personality. Layering necklaces is still very popular and also a great look with just about everything.

VEGETABLE DILL DIP

1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp. dill weed
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. minced onion
dash garlic powder

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Ready to eat immediately, but tastes best after setting about an hour to let spices mingle.

Vegetable choices:
carrot sticks, cucumber spears, green pepper slices, celery sticks and squash slices, just to name a few.
