Newsletter - December 2007
NOTE FROM STACYThe holidays seem to come faster every year, but I still love them as much as I did when I was a little girl. I particularly enjoy the traditions my family continues to share over the years. I have also enjoyed starting new traditions with my husband and learning about the special things that he enjoyed while growing up. So as you celebrate this
wonderful time, may you be blessed with wonderful memories and fabulous traditions that will be remembered for years to come.
My best to you!

FASHION TIPSJewelry is like icing on a cake. It gives you that finishing touch that can make or break an outfit. It can give an older outfit that much needed update to make it feel & look new again. Jewelry can
make you look trendy or classic, it can be playful or casual. So, when you are selecting a piece of jewelry, think about what you will be wearing it with before you make your choice.
Here are a few basic tips to think about when you are selecting jewelry:
- Anything dangling such as earrings or a longer necklace makes a body silhouette look slimmer.
- Jewelry is an effective focal point of the viewer's eye and can distract attention away from any body flaws you might have.
- Gold tones fit almost any skin color.
- Don't overdue it. If you are wearing layers of necklaces, keep your earrings simple. If you are stacking bracelets you might want to skip the necklaces and just wear earrings. Layering is still in, just make sure to keep it contained to one area, or it will come out looking cheap.
- The simpler the outfit, the fancier your jewelry can be. So if your heart is set on a on a necklace or earrings that are a real "statement piece" on their own, keep the "backdrop" (your outfit and it's neckline) simple.
- If you do wear a necklace, earrings and bracelets, it is best to have the the 3rd piece complimenary vs. matching so you don't look like you bought the set right off the drugstore shelf. This also gives you a unique and personal touch.
- Most importantly, make sure to choose items that you will enjoy and wear.
