Newsletter - July 2008
NOTE FROM STACYI hope you are all enjoying your summer!
Being a confirmed jewelry girl, with lots and lots of earrings, just like many of
you, I am always
looking for new solutions to organize my ever-growing earring collection. I have
enjoyed having
discussions on this fun subject with some of my consultants, hostesses and guests at
our parties.
So this month I would like to share with you a few "earring organizing" ideas that I
have gathered
over the past few months.
- Use cute wine glasses, martini glasses or tea cups to hang your French hook-style
earrings
over the edge.
- Use a fireplace screen, decorated with ribbon or buttons to give it a flair.
- Similar to the fireplace screen idea, staple screening or cross-stitch fabric
cut to fit an old large picture frame without glass. Place your earrings into the
holes that are already provided.
- Use large novelty buttons that can hold up to 2 pair of earrings, and sew onto
a curtain or cloth for display and organization of jewlery.
- In a pinch, or tight budget, take 2 nails or tacks and tie a ribbon or pipe cleaners
around each end. Hang earrings that dangle, or use grosgrain or other ribbon that you
can push post-style earrings through.
- Ice cube trays are great for organizing earrings. The trays are stackable and fit
most drawers.
- You can also use see-thru plastic tackle boxes.
If you have your own solution for storing your jewelry and would like to share it,
please email me
your tip to stacy@stacymcbride.com. We would love to hear it!
