NOTE FROM STACY

It’s hard to believe that summer will be coming to an end soon and we will be moving into fall. But, as much as I love the beautiful summer days, fall brings exciting new introductions in rich colors that are sure to please. We have beautiful new semi precious stone necklaces and bracelets in shades of crimson red, indigo blue, topaz, gold, emerald green and black. The designs for the season feature a lot of texture with combinations of angular cut stones and beads. You will also see a lot of “layering” with necklaces and “stacking” with bracelets, so who ever said you can have too much of a good thing. We have new introductions that allow you to get this look with one piece or you can combine multiple pieces to create your own. Enjoy!

DRINK RECIPE

This drink recipe was sent in by Dianne Boyd, our consultant in Bellingham, WA. She has been using it for 20 years and says it is a great hit at any party!

FROZEN DACQUIRIES
5th of Light Rum
2 12 oz cans of Limeade (undiluted)
2 12 oz cans of Lemonade
1 large liter of 7up
5 cans of water
Mix well and freeze in a large plastic bowl with a good lid and seal. Store in freezer. Stir and scoop out.

As I mentioned above in my notes section, the trends for fall are all about texture and rich colors. Notice the magazines showing mixtures of tweeds, leather, lace and denim-all in the same outfit! The newest “looks” in fashion allow you to be very creative in putting together your own ensembles.
